Bookkeeper (Part-Time) – Flexible Hours – Hybrid Remote

An Eaglet Accounting client is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of their business. This role will work directly with the business owners and receive oversight and support from Eaglet Accounting.


Pay: $25.00 per hour

Location: Hybrid remote, with weekly on-site work in Brookhaven, PA

Breslin Murphy Roberts is a busy Elder Law and Estate Planning firm based in Brookhaven, PA.


Hours Requirement

  • Approximately 3 hours per week on-site in Brookhaven, PA

    • On-site day can be Monday, Thursday, or Friday

    • Consistency in scheduling is preferred

  • Approximately 2–3 additional hours per week remote

  • Total expected time commitment: 20–25 hours per month


Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer invoices and manage accounts receivable

  • Process accounts payable

  • Assist with weekly bank deposit preparation

  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Run payroll and prepare related journal entries in QuickBooks Online

  • Support trust accounting (IOLTA account) – training will be provided

  • Record journal entries and maintain proper transaction classification

  • Prepare internal financial reports


Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Reliable and able to manage a consistent part-time schedule


Preferred Experience

  • 1+ year of bookkeeping experience

  • Experience working with professional services firms (legal experience a plus)

  • Familiarity with trust accounting (preferred but not required)


Work Location

Hybrid remote, with required on-site work in Brookhaven, PA 19015
